The reader
The origin of coffee goes back
to the mountains of Yemen over 1000 years ago when a Shepard of those
lands noticed that the heard of sheep that he was charged with watching

to the religious community, and the famous "khave" became
a mainstay in the priest's lives. This was the origin of coffee and
since then we, humans have not stopped drinking it.

Medicinal properties of coffee:
Coffee has been considered as a divine plant, with the capacity to cure
and alleviate the ills of the body and spirit. Moreover, the first discoverers
were right, because doctors and scientists coincide in affirming, with
some exceptions, that coffee produces beneficial effects in the organism
and nervous system, Stimulates clear thinking and perception. It stimulates
the memory and reflection. It accelerates brain activity, reduces fatigue
without altering mental faculties, factors that situate it in an advantageous
position in relation to many medicines.

How to make a good cup of
coffee
EThe coffee should be stored
in an airtight and opaque container, preferably in the refrigerator.
The beans should be hard, dry and clean, with an intense aroma. In the
preparation of a good cup of coffee many factors are involved, among
which we emphasize the following:
The water
The roast (light to dark)
The grind (fine to coarse)
The ratio of coffee to water
The equipment utilized (manual or automatic)
To obtain a good result the coffee beans utilized must be fresh and
recently ground. The grind should be fine to obtain the best flavor
and coffee cream. The utensils used should be clean of coffee residue
and oils, so they should be thoroughly washed after each use. Add one
spoonful of ground coffee for each cup and put the coffeemaker on the
fire. Use clear, chlorine free water and check the filters. It is important
once you have achieved these conditions that they remain consistent;
in this way assuring that the final product stays the same. Remove the
coffee from the fire before it boils. Serve immediately, fresh and very
hot. Serve in porcelain or china cups. Coffee should never be re-heated
as it loses all its virtues of aroma, acidity, and flavor
